The Verdict
The Roborock Q7 M5+ is a high-performance workhorse designed for maximum vacuuming efficiency. Its standout 10,000Pa HyperForce suction is class-leading, providing deep-cleaning power on carpets that rivals flagship models. The Dual Anti-Tangle system, featuring the JawScrapers main brush, effectively solves the most common robot vacuum headache by preventing long pet hair from wrapping around the rollers.
Value vs. Trade-off
The primary trade-off is the passive mopping system. Unlike higher-end models with vibrating pads, this is a basic "drag-along" mop best suited for light dusting rather than scrubbing dried stains. Additionally, the unit requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection, which may require minor router adjustments for some users.
The Verdict: While the mopping is secondary, the Q7 M5+ is a definitive buy for users who prioritize automated floor maintenance and carpet performance. You are paying for industrial-strength suction and a 7-week self-empty dock that genuinely reduces manual labor, making it an exceptional value for pet-heavy households where vacuuming is the top priority.
