LG 32GX850A-B 32" UltraGear 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) Glossy OLED Gaming Monitor, Dual-Mode 165Hz/330Hz, 0.03ms, G-SYNC, FreeSync Premium Pro, TrueBlack 400, HDMI, DP, Tilt/Height/Swivel/Pivot Stand, Black

The LG 32GX850A is a high-performance sweet spot for gamers who prioritize visual clarity and versatility over the extreme price tags of 240Hz flagships. Its standout feature is the Dual-Mode capability, allowing a seamless switch from 4K 165Hz for cinematic immersion to FHD 330Hz for frame-chasing competitive play. Unlike many of its matte-finished siblings, this model sports a glossy panel, which significantly enhances perceived contrast and color vibrance, delivering the "inky blacks" OLED is famous for without the graininess of traditional anti-glare coatings.

Best Features
The 0.03ms GtG response time is virtually instantaneous, effectively eliminating motion blur and ghosting. The VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, paired with 98.5% DCI-P3 coverage, ensures professional-grade color accuracy and lifelike depth. Furthermore, the inclusion of HDMI 2.1 and full G-SYNC/FreeSync Premium support makes it fully compatible with both high-end PCs and next-gen consoles.

What Users Love
Gamers frequently highlight the physical hotkey for instant resolution switching as a major quality-of-life improvement. The WOLED technology is also praised for maintaining deep black levels even in rooms with ambient light, where QD-OLED competitors often suffer from "raised blacks" that look dark gray.

Value vs. Trade-off
The primary compromise is the 165Hz ceiling in 4K, which trails the 240Hz found on the more expensive 32GS95UE. Additionally, while the HDR performance is excellent for dark-room gaming, the peak brightness may feel modest compared to high-end mini-LED displays.

Verdict
Despite these minor ceiling limitations, the 32GX850A is an exceptional value proposition. It provides the rare glossy OLED aesthetic and dual-resolution flexibility for hundreds of dollars less than top-tier alternatives. For the gamer who wants flagship-level motion clarity and stunning 4K visuals without the "pro-esports" price premium, this is a definitive buy.
