Samsung QN70H 85 inch Neo QLED Mini LED 4K UHD Smart TV

The Samsung 85-Inch QN70H (2026 Model) delivers premium visual punch without the flagship price tag. The standout feature is the Quantum Mini LED backlight, which provides exceptionally tight contrast and minimizes the distracting bloom often found on standard LCD panels. When paired with Samsung's 100% Color Volume via Quantum Dot technology, the result is a massively vibrant, saturated picture that easily cuts through glare in bright living rooms. Furthermore, the NQ4 AI Processor excels at 4K upscaling, ensuring that compressed cable broadcasts and older 1080p movies look aggressively sharp and near-native on this massive 85-inch canvas.

Bringing this level of brightness to a more accessible Neo QLED price point requires a few distinct compromises. The most notable trade-off is the 60Hz native refresh rate and the complete lack of HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. While casual viewers won't notice a difference, hardcore gamers expecting 4K/120Hz performance from current-generation consoles should look elsewhere. Additionally, the built-in 20W 2.0-channel audio feels incredibly thin for a screen this large; budgeting for a dedicated soundbar is practically mandatory for a true home theater experience.

Ultimately, these drawbacks are highly acceptable when you factor in the cost. For buyers who want a brilliantly bright, massive Mini LED display for movies, sports, and streaming—without paying a heavy premium for gaming-centric features they will never use—the QN70H represents an exceptional value and a highly recommended buy.
