Betta SE Plus Solar Robotic Pool Skimmer, Dual Charging, Always-On Cleaning | Dual Charging, Continuous Cleaning, Salt & Chlorine Compatible, Obstacle Avoidance, Shallow Water Safeguard, Remote Control

The Betta SE Plus is a specialized tool designed to solve one specific, annoying problem: surface debris. Its standout feature is the dual-power system, combining high-efficiency solar charging with a backup power adapter to ensure 24/7 continuous operation—a rarity that eliminates downtime during cloudy stretches. Equipped with patented Salt Chlorine Tolerant (SCT) motors, it’s built for long-term durability in salt-water environments. Users find the ultrasonic radar and shallow water safeguard particularly effective, as they significantly reduce the "stuck on the steps" syndrome that plagues lower-end models.

However, there are trade-offs. This is a surface-only skimmer; it will not touch your pool floor or walls. While the 200-micron fine-mesh basket captures everything from pet hair to pollen, it requires regular manual emptying to maintain its cleaning velocity.

Despite these limitations, the Betta SE Plus is a high-utility investment. When you weigh the cost against the hours of manual skimming saved and the significantly reduced strain on your pool’s main filtration system, it remains a must-buy for owners who want a pristine pool surface with near-zero effort.
