Shark Navigator Lift-Away Upright Vacuum Cleaner, HEPA, White, NV356E | Carpet, Area Rug & Hard Floor Cleaning, XL Dust Cup, Lightweight with Swivel Steering, 8-in Crevice Tool & Dusting Brush

The Shark Navigator Lift-Away Professional (NV356E) is a high-utility workhorse built for pet owners and allergy sufferers. The defining strength is its Lift-Away functionality, which converts the upright into a portable canister for effortless stair and above-floor cleaning. Its Anti-Allergen Complete Seal and HEPA filtration are industry-leading at this price point, trapping 99.9% of microscopic particles and dander. The brushroll shutoff allows for a true "all-floor" experience, transitioning from thick carpets to bare wood without scratching, while the swivel steering provides excellent control around furniture.

The primary trade-off is the top-heavy balance; the vacuum is prone to tipping if the hose is extended too far while the canister is docked. The attachment hose is relatively short, occasionally restricting reach, and the narrower cleaning head means more passes are required in wide-open spaces.

Ultimately, these ergonomic quirks are overshadowed by the machine’s relentless suction and superior air filtration. When compared to premium brands costing twice as much, the NV356E’s professional-grade performance and versatile 2-in-1 design make it an essential, high-value purchase for any busy household.
