The Shark Navigator NV360 is a powerhouse of utility that punches well above its weight class. Its standout feature is the Lift-Away pod, which allows you to detach the canister with a single button to clean stairs or overhead vents without hauling the entire upright. Users consistently praise the Anti-Allergen Complete Seal and HEPA filtration, a combination rarely found at this price point that captures 99.9% of dust and allergens. The brushroll shutoff provides a seamless transition from deep carpet agitation to gentle bare floor suction, making it a versatile "one-and-done" tool for mixed-flooring homes. The trade-offs are largely ergonomic. The unit is notoriously top-heavy; it can tip over easily if you overextend the hose while the pod is docked. Additionally, the cleaning path is narrow, meaning you will need more passes to cover large rooms, and the hose reach is relatively short, which can feel restrictive during detail work. However, these limitations are minor when contextualized against the unbeatable price-to-performance ratio. You are getting professional-grade suction and medical-grade filtration for a fraction of the cost of premium brands. For those who prioritize deep-cleaning power and air quality over a wider cleaning head, the NV360 remains one of the best values in the upright market.
