Shark AI Ultra Robot Vacuum, Black/Silver, Carpet and Hard Floors, AV2511AE | Matrix Clean Navigation for Carpet, Hard Floors & Pet Hair, HEPA, Powerful Suction, Anti-Hair Wrap, LiDAR Mapping, Wi-Fi

The Shark AI Ultra (AV2511AE) is a high-efficiency workhorse for households that want premium automation without the premium "tax." Its standout feature is the bagless self-empty base, which holds up to 60 days of debris while eliminating the hidden, ongoing cost of replacement bags. Unlike standard "bump-and-go" vacuums, the LiDAR-driven Matrix Clean navigation uses a precise grid pattern to ensure no spots are missed, delivering a deep clean that is visibly superior on both high-pile carpets and hard floors. Pet owners will particularly appreciate the self-cleaning brushroll, which actively prevents the hair-wrap tangles that plague cheaper models.

The primary trade-off is in the software and sensor sensitivity. The SharkClean app lacks the extreme polish of high-end competitors—making room boundary adjustments slightly tedious—and the obstacle avoidance is occasionally over-eager or misses low-profile objects like charging cables. Additionally, the self-empty cycle is noticeably loud, though it only lasts for a few seconds.

However, these minor inconveniences are easily outweighed by the long-term value proposition. At this price point, finding 360° LiDAR mapping and a zero-maintenance-cost base is rare. For those who prioritize unmatched suction power and low-cost ownership over a perfect app interface, the AV2511AE is an undeniable buy.
