Shark Rocket Pro DLX Corded Stick Vacuum, XL Cup, Handheld, Fuchsia, HV371 | Deep Carpet Cleaning, Pet Hair Pickup, LED Headlights, Swivel Steering, Low-Profile Reach, Crevice and Upholstery Tools

The Shark Rocket Pro DLX (HV371) delivers upright-level performance in a sub-10 lb chassis. Its biggest draw is the unfailing suction power that effortlessly pulls embedded pet hair out of deep-pile carpets. Because it is a corded unit, you get infinite runtime and consistent 500-watt power without the rapid battery degradation common to cordless competitors. Users consistently praise the utility of the bright LED headlights for spotting hidden debris under furniture and love the 0.68-quart XL dust cup, which requires far fewer trips to the trash than typical stick vacs. The quick-release foot pedal smoothly transitions the unit into a highly versatile hand vacuum, making it perfect for stairs and auto interiors alongside the included specialized pet and upholstery tools.

The trade-offs stem from its core architecture. Because the motor and dust cup are mounted at the top, the handle can feel heavy during extended, whole-house cleaning sessions. Furthermore, this top-heavy design means it will not stand up on its own; you have to lean it against a wall if you pause to move a piece of furniture. Finally, managing a 25-foot cord on a nimble stick vacuum can feel slightly cumbersome if you are used to the absolute freedom of battery power.

However, at a price point that frequently hovers well under $200, these minor ergonomic quirks are easily eclipsed by the raw performance. The HV371 is an exceptional value for pet owners who need the aggressive deep-cleaning power of a heavy upright but demand the low-profile maneuverability of a stick vacuum. Sacrificing cordless convenience is a highly worthwhile trade-off for zero battery anxiety, relentless suction, and a highly accessible price tag.
