Shark HydroVac MessMaster Wet Dry Vacuum & Mop Combo, AW261 | 3-in-1 Self-Cleaning + Powerful Suction, 2 Brushrolls & 2 Solutions Included, for Hardwood Floors & Area Rugs

The Shark HydroVac MessMaster AW261 is a high-utility 3-in-1 solution that effectively eliminates the need for a separate vacuum and mop. Its primary strength lies in the Stain Boost mode, which targets high-traffic grime on hardwood, tile, and marble with impressive efficiency. The antimicrobial brushroll and automated self-cleaning cycle are critical features that prevent the "dirty mop" odor common in hybrid cleaners.

The trade-off is primarily found in battery longevity; continuous heavy-duty use may require strategic cleaning in larger floor plans. There is also a slight edge-cleaning gap typical of cylindrical brushrolls, occasionally requiring a manual wipe for baseboard corners.

Ultimately, these limitations are standard for the cordless category and easily overlooked given the AW261’s aggressive pricing and the inclusion of extra brushrolls and solution. For users looking to halve their cleaning time without the luxury-brand markup, this model provides exceptional ROI and professional-grade results for the everyday home.
