AOC 22 Inch Computer Monitor FHD 120Hz Overclocked VA HDR, 22B35HM23 | 1920×1200 LED Monitor, 60Hz, 0.5ms, Built-in dual Speakers, Kickstand, VESA, Low Blue Mode, 3-Year Warranty

The AOC 22B35HM23 is a budget powerhouse for users prioritizing motion smoothness and high contrast on a strict budget. The headline feature is the 120Hz refresh rate, which provides a significantly more fluid experience than standard 60Hz office monitors for both gaming and daily productivity. Combined with a VA panel boasting a 3000:1 contrast ratio, it delivers deep, ink-like blacks and vibrant visuals that far outperform basic IPS screens for media consumption and atmospheric gaming.

The primary trade-off is the inherent VA ghosting, where dark objects can "smear" slightly during high-speed motion—a standard characteristic for this panel technology. Additionally, the viewing angles are tighter than IPS competitors, and the basic tilt-only stand lacks height or swivel adjustments.

Ultimately, these limitations are minor concessions given the entry-level price point. While it is not intended for professional esports, the inclusion of Adaptive Sync, HDR Ready support, and a modern 3-sided frameless design makes it an exceptional value. For students, remote workers, or casual gamers, this monitor is a buy because it brings high-speed performance and superior contrast to a price bracket where 60Hz is still the norm.
