Wilton Multi-Purpose 5-1/2" Bench & Pipe Vise, 360° Rotating Head & Base

360° ROTATING HEAD WITH 30° INDEXING: The vise head turns a full 360 degrees and indexes in 30-degree steps, so you can set and repeat common angles quickly. The base also swivels 360 degrees and locks with two lockdowns. Together they let you hold work at nearly any angle without re-clamping.

BENCH JAWS, PIPE JAWS AND A V-JAW IN ONE VISE: The main jaws are 5-1/2 inches wide with a 5-inch maximum opening and a 2-3/4-inch throat depth. Replaceable steel pipe jaws hold pipe and round stock from 5/8 inch to 2-1/4 inches in diameter, and a V-jaw holds round stock vertically for drilling or cutting.

CAST IRON BODY, DUCTILE IRON BASE, HARDENED STEEL JAWS: The body and movable jaw are 30,000 PSI gray cast iron, and the base is 60,000 PSI ductile iron. Replaceable hardened steel jaw inserts have a serrated pattern for a firm grip and long life, and a large built-in anvil handles forming and shaping. Net weight is 40 lb.

FOR LIGHT TRADES, MAINTENANCE AND GENERAL SHOP USE - NOT A PRESS: Made for light tradesman, utility, maintenance and general-purpose work. Bolt it down with four 7/16-inch bolts on a 6-11/16-inch bolt circle. Hand-tighten the lockdowns; never use a pipe on them. Do not use the vise as a press or put a hammer or cheater bar on the handle, which is designed to bend before the vise is damaged.
