The Verdict
The iPhone 13 Pro Max (Renewed) is a performance heavyweight defined by its legendary 28-hour battery life and the 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with 120Hz ProMotion. Users consistently laud the A15 Bionic chip for its sustained speed and the triple-lens camera system, which delivers professional-grade Cinematic mode and 6x optical zoom range.
The trade-offs are primarily logistical: the surgical-grade stainless steel frame is noticeably heavy for one-handed use, and the 128GB base storage limits 4K ProRes video recording to 1080p. Furthermore, being locked to AT&T restricts your ability to switch carriers.
However, when contextualized against the steep discount of a renewed unit, these drawbacks are easily justified. For an AT&T customer, the massive savings over current-gen models make this the most cost-effective way to secure flagship display tech and multi-day battery endurance without the four-figure price tag. It remains a high-value "buy" for power users who prioritize screen real estate and longevity over the latest yearly iterations.
