Old Town Sportsman PDL 120 Sit-on-Top Fishing Kayak, Steel Camo | 12 foot solo fishing paddle kayak with a 384 lb usable weight capacity and and hands-free propulsion

The Old Town Sportsman PDL 120 is a professional-grade platform designed for maximum stability and hands-free fishing efficiency. The centerpiece is the ultra-reliable PDL Drive, which provides instant forward and reverse for precise boat control in wind or current. Its 36-inch wide pontoon-style hull offers a rock-solid standing platform, while the premium mesh seat provides the lumbar support necessary for 10-hour days on the water.

The primary trade-off is the 116-pound transport weight, which makes car-topping a chore and a heavy-duty cart mandatory for solo launches. While the premium price point is a significant investment, it is contextualized by the lifetime hull warranty and 5-year drive warranty—protections rarely seen in the budget category. For the angler who demands tournament-ready durability and a drive system that won't fail in heavy cover, the PDL 120 is a high-value "buy" that delivers a superior, long-term return on investment.
