Old Town Sportsman PDL 106 Sit-on-Top Fishing Kayak, Steel Camo | 10 feet 6 inches solo fishing paddle kayak with a 343 lb usable weight capacity and and hands-free propulsion

The Old Town Sportsman PDL 106 is a high-performance fishing machine defined by its legendary stability and maintenance-free pedal drive. The centerpiece is the PDL Drive, which delivers instant forward and reverse and is backed by an industry-leading 5-year warranty. Anglers benefit from a pontoon-style hull that allows for confident standing and casting, paired with a breathable mesh seat designed for all-day lumbar support. The inclusion of customizable accessory tracks and a universal transducer mount makes it a "plug-and-play" option for pro-level electronics.

The primary trade-off is the total weight of 125 pounds (including the drive), which makes solo car-topping a significant physical challenge despite its compact 10'6" frame. It also carries a premium price point that represents a serious investment compared to entry-level pedal kayaks.

However, when you factor in the unmatched durability and lifetime hull warranty, the cost is easily justified. For the serious angler who requires a nimble, rock-solid platform that can navigate tight spots without sacrificing power or reliability, the Sportsman PDL 106 remains the gold standard for performance in a compact footprint.
