ViewSonic VS2247-MH 22 Inch 1080p Monitor, 100Hz Refresh Rate for Smooth Home and Office Viewing, Eye Care Technology, Thin Bezels, HDMI, and VGA Inputs

The ViewSonic VS2247-MH is a high-utility workhorse that punches above its weight by offering professional-grade ergonomics in a compact 22-inch frame. While most budget monitors sacrifice adjustability, this model includes a stand that supports height adjustment, swivel, and 90-degree rotation, making it a standout for ergonomic health and vertical coding or document review. The upgrade to a 100Hz refresh rate paired with AMD FreeSync provides a fluid visual experience that eliminates screen tearing, a significant step up from standard 60Hz office displays.

Value vs. Trade-off
The primary draw is the high-contrast MVA panel, which delivers deeper blacks and more vibrant text than typical entry-level IPS screens. Users also benefit from optimized view settings like "Mono" and "Text" modes that tailor the output to specific tasks. The trade-offs are predictable: the integrated speakers are basic and lack depth for media, and the 21.5-inch viewable area may feel cramped for heavy multitasking compared to larger alternatives.

However, these drawbacks are easily overlooked when considering the price point. The inclusion of Flicker-Free technology and a Blue Light Filter ensures long-term eye comfort, while the unmatched stand flexibility provides value usually reserved for monitors twice the cost. For students or professionals needing a space-efficient, ergonomic solution, the VS2247-MH is an unbeatable value proposition.
