New! Sceptre Curved 24-inch Gaming Monitor 1ms 100Hz 1500R DisplayPort HDMI X2 Eye Care 100% sRGB Build-in Speakers, Machine Black 2026 (C248W-FW100T Series)

The Sceptre C248W-FW100T (2026 Edition) is a high-utility budget powerhouse that brings 100Hz fluidity and an immersive 1500R curve to a price bracket typically limited to flat, 75Hz office displays.

Value:
The standout feature is the VA panel's 3,000:1 contrast ratio, delivering deep blacks and visual depth that budget IPS monitors can't match. Users will benefit from the 100% sRGB color gamut, which ensures vibrant visuals for media and entry-level creative work. Connectivity is exceptionally generous for the price; the dual HDMI and DisplayPort array allows for seamless switching between a PC, console, and laptop without the need for an external switcher.

Trade-off:
To maintain its aggressive pricing, the monitor features a modest 250-nit peak brightness, which may struggle in rooms with heavy direct sunlight. While the 1ms Blur Reduction is effective, the inherent VA-panel ghosting remains a factor in high-speed competitive shooters. Additionally, the built-in speakers are thin and lack volume, making them a secondary option to dedicated headphones.

The Verdict:
While it skips high-end brightness and premium audio, these concessions are negligible when weighed against the cost. For students, office professionals, and casual gamers seeking a smooth, modern curved display on a strict budget, the C248W-FW100T is an unbeatable value proposition that delivers exactly where it counts.
