TOSHIBA Large Countertop Microwave Oven with Smart Sensor, 2.2 Cu.Ft, 1200W | Smart Humidity Sensor, 6 Auto Menus, Auto Defrost, ECO Mode, Mute Option, 16.5" Memory Turntable, Stainless Steel

The Toshiba ML-EM62P(SS) offers substantial value, primarily in its generous 2.2 Cu. Ft. capacity and powerful 1200W output, making it highly suitable for larger families or those needing to accommodate big dishes like a 16-inch pizza or a whole chicken. The intuitive humidity sensor with 6 auto menus stands out for delivering evenly heated results and preserving food moisture. Users appreciate the 16.5-inch position memory turntable, which consistently returns items to an accessible position, enhancing convenience. Beyond core heating, features like ECO Mode for energy saving, a mute option, and comprehensive auto-defrost functions contribute to a user-friendly and versatile experience. Its sleek stainless steel finish also ensures it integrates well with modern kitchen aesthetics.

However, there are trade-offs. Its large footprint is a significant consideration, potentially proving unsuitable for smaller kitchens or limited counter space. While powerful, the 1200W output can lead to higher power consumption and energy bills compared to less powerful models. Some users have also noted inconsistent turntable operation and, in isolated cases, uneven cooking results where food may burn in the center despite preset functions.

Despite these minor drawbacks, the ML-EM62P(SS) remains a compelling purchase. For its robust feature set, considerable capacity, and powerful performance, the occasional trade-offs in size or power draw are often acceptable, especially "considering the price and the size". It stands as a feature-rich and reliable microwave, ideal for those prioritizing capacity and smart functionality in a busy household, where its benefits overwhelmingly outweigh its limitations.
