Eureka NEU182B PowerSpeed Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner, Purple | 10lbs, 2.6L Dust Cup, Upright Vacuum, 5-Height Brush Roll Adjust, Pet Hair, Carpet & Hard Floor Cleaner, Purple

The Eureka NEU182B PowerSpeed excels at providing high-end suction in a remarkably 10-pound frame. Its 2.6L dust cup is massive for this class, significantly reducing trips to the trash can. The 5-setting height adjustment ensures it won't "snowplow" debris on hard floors or get stuck on thick rugs, while the 12.6-inch wide nozzle speeds up cleaning times in open areas.

The compromises are found in the details: the 25-foot power cord requires frequent unplugging in larger floor plans, and the washable foam filter lacks the microscopic trapping power of a HEPA system. The build quality is utilitarian plastic, and the stretch hose can be somewhat resistant when using the included on-board tools.

However, these minor inconveniences are easily overlooked given the price. You are purchasing a powerhouse motor and a versatile cleaning head for a fraction of the cost of "luxury" uprights. For those who prioritize sheer debris pickup and lightweight maneuverability over premium aesthetics, the NEU182B is an outstanding value proposition that gets the job done without the markup.
