Westinghouse Roku 55 Inch QLED Smart TV, 4K UHD, Voice Remote, Dolby Vision | QLED Color, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth Wireless Headphone Connection, Cast Content w/Roku App and Apple AirPlay 2

The Westinghouse WSWR55QX400 positions itself as a high-value entry into the 4K QLED market, prioritizing color accuracy and ease of use over premium audio or gaming specs.

Value: High-End Visuals on a Budget
The standout feature is the Quantum-dot (QLED) technology, which provides a noticeably wider color gamut than standard LED panels in this price bracket. Users consistently praise the vibrant, punchy colors and the inclusion of both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, ensuring high-dynamic-range content looks sharp and well-balanced. The Roku TV platform remains the industry gold standard for simplicity, offering a fast, intuitive interface that eliminates the need for external streaming sticks. Additionally, the bezel-less design gives it a modern, premium aesthetic that punches above its weight class.

Trade-offs: The Entry-Level Reality
To hit this price point, Westinghouse made concessions in audio depth and peak brightness. The built-in speakers lack low-end punch, and while the QLED panel is vibrant, it doesn't reach the searing brightness levels required to fully combat heavy direct sunlight in very bright rooms. Some users also note that while the viewing angles are improved, there is still slight color shift when viewed from extreme sides.

The Verdict
While the sound quality is average and it lacks the high-refresh rates sought by competitive gamers, the Westinghouse WSWR55QX400 is an exceptional value for movie lovers and casual streamers. You are essentially getting premium 4K QLED color performance and a top-tier smart interface for a fraction of the cost of a flagship brand. If you pair this with a basic soundbar, the trade-offs vanish, making it an essential buy for anyone seeking a 55-inch cinematic experience without the four-figure price tag.
