Moto G 5G | 2024 | Unlocked | Made for US 4/128GB | 50MP Camera | Sage Green

The Motorola Moto G 5G (2024) is a masterclass in budget refinement, trading raw specs for a premium tactile experience. The standout feature is the soft-touch vegan leather back, which feels significantly more high-end than the plastic typically found at this price point. Users benefit from a buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate on the 6.6-inch display, paired with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers that deliver surprisingly loud, clear audio. Battery performance remains a top-tier strength, with the 5000mAh cell reliably providing two days of use, while the 128GB of expandable storage ensures plenty of room for apps and media.

On the flip side, the 4GB of physical RAM can feel restrictive during heavy multitasking, though the RAM Boost feature helps mitigate some lag by utilizing virtual memory. The display’s 720p resolution lacks the sharpness of Full HD panels, and the 18W charging speed is undeniably slow for such a large battery. Additionally, while the 50MP camera system excels in bright daylight, low-light performance is often noisy and lacks fine detail.

Ultimately, these trade-offs are easy to justify given the aggressive sub-$200 price tag. If you value exceptional battery longevity, reliable 5G connectivity, and a device that looks and feels expensive without the flagship cost, the Moto G 5G (2024) is one of the most practical and stylish value picks on the market.
