BenQ GW2790 27" FHD IPS Monitor 100Hz 5ms Eye-Care HDMI DisplayPort

The BenQ GW2790 is a calculated trade-off that prioritizes visual comfort and motion smoothness over raw resolution. The jump to a 100Hz refresh rate makes a transformative difference in daily productivity, offering a fluidity in scrolling and window management that standard 60Hz monitors lack. Its Brightness Intelligence (B.I.) sensor is the real star, automatically tuning the display to your room's lighting to drastically reduce eye strain during long sessions. Combined with an IPS panel covering 99% sRGB, you get consistent, vibrant colors that are rare at this price bracket.

The primary drawback is the pixel density; 1080p at 27 inches means text isn't as crisp as on smaller or higher-resolution displays. Additionally, the tilt-only stand and basic 2W speakers are functional but remind you of its entry-level positioning.

Ultimately, these limitations are standard for this class of monitor. What isn't standard is the premium eye-care suite and the 100Hz fluidity. For those seeking a dependable home-office monitor that protects your eyes while keeping the desktop experience snappy, the GW2790 provides exceptional value for money that far outweighs its modest resolution.
