Midea Microwave Drawer Oven, 1.2 Cu.Ft, 1000W, Stainless Steel,Child Safety | Built-In Installation, 11 Power Levels, Child Safety Lock, One-Touch Start, Auto-Menus, Easy Clean Interior

The Midea MM12S2ASZ is a high-performance 1.2 cu.ft drawer microwave that brings a high-end built-in aesthetic to the kitchen at a competitive mid-range price. Its 1000W output and 11 power levels deliver precision cooking that rivals luxury brands, while the one-touch "Touch & Go" controls and auto-menu presets eliminate the learning curve for daily use. Users specifically praise the space-saving design that clears countertop clutter and the child safety lock, which is an essential security feature for under-counter installations accessible to toddlers.

Value vs. Trade-off
The primary drawback is the installation requirement; as a specialized built-in appliance, it demands precise cabinet cutouts and is not a "plug-and-play" countertop solution. Some users also note that the motorized drawer mechanism operates at a measured, deliberate pace, which might feel slower than a traditional manual door. However, when contextualized against the $1,200+ price tags of designer-label competitors, these minor ergonomic differences are easily overlooked. For homeowners who want a sleek, stainless steel integrated look and reliable 1000W performance without the "luxury tax," the Midea MM12S2ASZ is an exceptionally smart investment.
