Google Pixel Watch 4 (45mm) - Smartwatch - Obsidian Active Band - LTE | Android smartwatch, heart rate, fitness, and sleep tracking, 30-hour battery, Gemini built in, water resistant

The Google Pixel Watch 4 (45mm) finally delivers the stamina users have demanded, boasting a 40-hour battery life (up to 72 in saver mode) and a side charging dock that provides 15 hours of power in just 15 minutes. The standout value proposition is the 2 years of included LTE data and texting, which removes the immediate burden of monthly carrier fees. Gemini AI is deeply integrated, providing hyper-relevant quick replies and proactive assistance that actually feels useful on a small screen.

### Value vs. Trade-off

* The Upside: The combination of dual-frequency GPS for pinpoint tracking and the larger 45mm display makes this a powerhouse for fitness enthusiasts. Users particularly love the seamless Google Fi-powered connectivity and the precision craftsmanship of the matte black aluminum case.
* The Downside: Despite the leap in longevity, it still requires regular charging if you use every feature at max settings, and the Google Pixel Watch app remains a mandatory gateway for full functionality.

Verdict: While the ecosystem lock-in and the need for more frequent charging compared to dedicated sport watches persist, the included 24 months of data effectively subsidizes the hardware cost. For the Android user looking for a premium, AI-forward experience, the Pixel Watch 4 is a definitive buy that balances high-end health tech with unprecedented out-of-the-box value.
