Key Features
ANALOG ELECTRO AND HIP HOP EFFECT: the Meinl Crasher has a frequency that easily differentiates from hihats and snare with a trashy, electronic, metallic tone
WHY IT MATTERS: it's a hassle-free way to add completely new sounds to your kit, and open your mind to new patterns and stickings
HOW IT WORKS: strike the Crasher with a stick or mallet just like a closed pair of hihats; two steel pieces make contact with each other to respond with a short, crisp burst of sound
ZOOM IN: the wavy edge is perfect for creating guiro sound effects; drag a drumstick across to make a rattling sustain or washboard sound
OF NOTE: comes with a standard 3/8" eye bolt mount that fits percussion rods or cymbal stands; it's easy to place anywhere in your setup
BY THE NUMBERS: measures 10.24" L x 5.5" W (including mount)
THE TAKEAWAY: the Meinl Crasher is a versatile add-on with a nice contrast in sound from cymbals and drums; use in a drum kit or percussion setup
THE BIG PICTURE: Meinl is a family-owned musical instrument manufacturer and brand established 1951 in Germany; our expert German designers have deep relationships with our builders to ensure you're delivered the absolute finest quality
