Samsung 34” ViewFinity (S65TC) Ultra-WQHD 1000R Curved Computer Monitor | 100Hz, HDR10, AMD FreeSync, Thunderbolt 4, Height Adjustable Stand, Built-in Speakers, Eye Care (LS34C650TANXGO)

The Samsung 34” ViewFinity S65TC is a productivity-first ultrawide designed to eliminate desk clutter and bridge the gap between office work and casual media consumption. It isn't trying to be a world-class gaming monitor; it’s trying to be the ultimate docking station for your laptop.

### The Value
The standout feature is the Thunderbolt 4 connectivity with 90W Power Delivery. This allows you to charge a high-end laptop, transmit video, and connect peripherals—including a hardwired internet connection via the built-in LAN port—through a single cable. For those managing multiple machines, the integrated KVM switch and Picture-by-Picture modes make toggling between a work laptop and a home desktop seamless. The 1000R curve is aggressive, effectively wrapping the 21:9 screen around your natural field of view to reduce the "head-turning" fatigue common with flatter 34-inch displays.

### The Trade-off
To keep the price competitive, Samsung utilizes a VA panel rather than IPS. While this results in deep blacks and high contrast, it introduces the typical VA caveat: narrow viewing angles and minor "smearing" during fast-paced motion. The 100Hz refresh rate is a welcome step up from the 60Hz office standard, but it won't satisfy competitive gamers. Additionally, while HDR10 is supported, the 350-nit peak brightness means you won't get the "pop" of a true HDR experience.

### The Buy
Despite the modest HDR and panel limitations, the S65TC is an easy recommendation for professionals. You are essentially paying for a high-quality display and a premium Thunderbolt 4 dock in one package. When you factor in the cost of a standalone 90W dock and a 1440p ultrawide, this monitor offers immense integrated value that far outweighs its minor graphical compromises. If your priority is a clean, efficient workspace, this is the right tool for the job.
