Hisense 65" U8 Series ULED Mini-LED 4K UHD Smart Google TV (65U8QG) - QLED, Native 165Hz, VRR 288, Up to LD5600, 5000 Nits, HDR10+, Dolby Vision IQ · Atmos, IMAX Enhanced, 4.1.2 Ch Audio

The Hisense 65U8QG is a brightness juggernaut that effectively closes the gap between Mini-LED and OLED contrast. With a staggering 5,000 nits peak brightness and 5,600 local dimming zones, this TV delivers an HDR experience that is both searingly bright and incredibly precise, virtually eliminating the "blooming" typical of high-output panels. Gamers are the big winners here, benefiting from a native 165Hz refresh rate and an Anti-Reflection Pro coating that keeps the screen clear even in sun-drenched rooms.

The trade-off? While the 4.1.2 channel audio is robust for integrated speakers, it still lacks the visceral low-end of a dedicated subwoofer. Additionally, the Google TV interface can occasionally feel sluggish when the Hi-View AI Engine Pro is working overtime on heavy upscaling tasks, and off-center viewing angles don't quite match the consistency of an OLED.

However, these are minor concessions when you consider the price-to-performance ratio. You are getting flagship-level luminance and elite gaming specs for significantly less than what the competition charges for similar zone counts. For anyone prioritizing impactful HDR and daytime visibility, the 65U8QG is an undeniable value and a definitive buy.
