Bissell 2254 CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet Upright Bagless Vacuum, Automatic Cord Rewind, Swivel Steering, Powerful Pet Hair Pickup, Specialized Pet Tools, Large Capacity Dirt Tank, Teal

The Bissell 2254 CleanView Swivel Rewind Pet is a high-performance upright vacuum that prioritizes convenience for pet owners without the premium price tag. Its standout feature is the automatic cord rewind, which solves the common annoyance of manual cable management.

Value: What Works
The Triple Action Brush Roll excels at lifting embedded hair from high-pile carpets, while the scatter-free technology makes it surprisingly effective on hard floors. Users consistently praise the swivel steering, which provides the maneuverability needed to navigate around heavy furniture. The edge-to-edge suction is a genuine time-saver, pulling debris from baseboards where many budget models fail. Additionally, the specialized pet tools, specifically the Pet TurboEraser, are highly effective for removing stubborn fur from upholstery and stairs.

Trade-offs: What to Expect
The primary drawback is the physical weight; at roughly 16 pounds, it can feel cumbersome when carrying it between floors. The hose length is also somewhat limited, which can make reaching high ceilings or deep under furniture a challenge. Some users note that the plastic build feels less "premium" than high-end competitors, though it remains durable for daily use.

The Verdict
While it lacks the featherweight feel of a luxury stick vacuum, the Bissell 2254 offers professional-grade suction and pet-specific features at a fraction of the cost. The minor inconveniences of weight and reach are easily overshadowed by its sheer cleaning power and time-saving cord retraction. For those with multi-pet households looking for a workhorse under $200, this is an unbeatable value proposition.
