Bissell CleanView Compact Turbo Upright Vacuum, 3437F | Full-size power in compact form; quick release wand; designed for apartments & dorms; turbo suction

The Bissell CleanView Compact Turbo (3437F) punches well above its weight class, delivering full-size suction in a remarkably nimble 10-pound frame. It is purpose-built for apartments and dorms, featuring Scatter-Free Technology that prevents debris from spraying on hard floors and a Quick Release Wand for efficient above-floor cleaning. Users consistently highlight its maneuverability and surprisingly powerful performance on pet hair and low-to-medium pile carpets.

The trade-offs are the standard results of its compact footprint: the dirt tank requires frequent emptying during larger cleaning sessions, and the shorter power cord may necessitate switching outlets between rooms. Additionally, the narrower cleaning path means you will need more passes to cover a large floor.

However, when weighed against its highly accessible price point, these are minor logistical hurdles. For those in limited living spaces who need maximum suction without the bulk of a traditional upright, the 3437F is a high-value purchase that offers unmatched portability for the cost.
