Bissell CleanView Full Size Upright Vacuum, 4438 | Pet Hair Brush Roll, Powerful Suction, Pet Hair Tools, Large Dirt Container

The Bissell CleanView 4438 is a performance-driven workhorse designed for households that prioritize raw cleaning power over luxury features. Its primary strength lies in the TurboPass Brush Roll and Cyclonic Technology, which together deliver consistent, heavy-duty suction that excels at pulling embedded pet hair out of thick carpets. Users frequently praise the 2-liter XL Dirt Container, which significantly reduces maintenance interruptions during large-room cleaning, and the TurboBrush Tool for its effectiveness on upholstered furniture and stairs.

Value vs. Trade-off
The main compromise here is maneuverability; the fixed-wheel design lacks swivel steering, meaning you’ll exert more effort navigating around tight furniture corners. Additionally, the all-plastic construction feels basic and the motor is noticeably loud. However, these ergonomic trade-offs are minor when contextualized against the aggressive entry-level price. Because it matches the suction performance of machines twice its cost, the 4438 is a highly practical buy for pet owners who need a reliable, high-capacity vacuum without the premium markup.
