WHERE TO USE IT: Caliper slide and guide pins and boots, pad backing plates, ears and abutment clips, anti-rattle shims, caliper piston boots and dust seals, drum shoe contact points and self-adjuster threads.
STOPS DISC BRAKE SQUEAL: Silicone grease damps vibration at pad and caliper contact points so brakes stay quiet after a pad job, and seals out water and road salt to prevent seized, corroded hardware.
RUBBER-SAFE SILICONE: [CONFIRM: BK-44 uses the BK-4 Sil-Glyde brake formula] Safe on EPDM and nitrile rubber seals, pins and boots. Rated [CONFIRM: -20 F to 425 F] so it won't burn off under hard braking.
